Nirwan University Jaipur recently hosted a one-day workshop on "Intellectual Property Rights" in collaboration with the Department for Promotion of Industry & Internal Trade, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, and Government of India. The event took place on July 25, 2022, and featured a distinguished speaker, Dr. Sateesh Kumar Meena, an Examiner of Patents & Designs from the Government of India. Dr. Meena delivered an engaging and insightful lecture on the fundamental aspects of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), including Patents, Designs, Copyrights, Trademarks, Geographical Indicator Tags (GI Tags), as well as Patent Drafting, Filing, and Registration. The session was highly interactive, with participants engaging in question-answer sessions and quiz activities.
The workshop witnessed the active participation of both employees and students of Nirwan University Jaipur, fostering an environment of knowledge exchange and awareness about Intellectual Property Rights. The event proved to be an enlightening and engaging platform for attendees to deepen their understanding of IPR and its practical applications.
