Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Before the submission of the thesis, the candidate has to present it in an open ‘Pre-presentation of thesis at the university. The presence of URC members in this meeting is mandatory
Two first-author journal publications indexed in SCI / Web of Science / SCOPUS / UGC Care list / Nirwan University, Jaipur (NUJ) approved list, in the field of research are mandatory for submitting the thesis. The publications shall be related to the subject of the thesis.
The articles must be published/accepted for publication with NUJ affiliation before submission of the thesis for evaluation
Ph.D. scholars must present two research papers/posters at National/International conferences before the submission of the thesis for evaluation, and produce evidence for the same in the form of presentation certificates.
Permission/acknowledgment will be required to use data/figures/photos/diagrams of other sources.
Urkund/ Turnitin Plagiarism report of the whole final thesis is required with a similarity index as per UGC guidelines.
Students should also submit the thesis in soft copy (both PDF and word) for storage and archival.

The research scholars are advised to follow the below guidelines:

Seven copies of the thesis (when only the supervisor is present) or eight copies of the thesis (when the supervisor and co-supervisor are present) have to be submitted in the hardbound form to the Research Section, NUJ for evaluation

The degree’s name, thesis title, research scholar’s name, and year of submission should also be printed on the spine (side) of the thesis.

The front cover of the hardbound should be the same as the title page of the thesis [Refer to Annexure 3 (i-iv)]. The colour of the hardbound should be according to the faculty in which the student is enrolled as mentioned on the next page:
