Nirwan University, Jaipur was established by the Govt. of Rajasthan vide ACT No. 2 of 2017 and recognized U/s 2 (f) of UGC ACT 1956. The University has been empowered to award degrees under section 22 of the UGC Act. In pursuance to the Sec 5(j) of the Nirwan university Jaipur Act 2017, University has established the following multiple interdisciplinary Center to promote academics, collaborations with institutions, Research and Development in diversified areas:

Center for Cyber Security and Forensics (CCSF)

The Center aims to focus on:

Promote interdisciplinary research as well as training and development in Cyber Security and Cryptology to fulfil the growing demand in the national and international arena.
Provide a good blend of theory and industrial practice, analytical methods, management practices and policy issues.
Offer a good blend of professionals having insight into general and technical aspects of Cyber Security.

Center for Frontier and Converging Technology (CFCT)

The Center aims to focus on:

Emerging technologies and multidisciplinary, translational research relevant to national development goals such as energy, water, clean environment, and smart materials that promote sustainable development.
Triggering an R and D culture in the institution as evidenced by a significant increase in applications of research outputs, collaborative and sponsored research, publications in reputed national/ international journals and conferences, patents, innovations, and commercialized products.

Center for Defence and Security Studies (CDSS)

The Center of Excellence has been conceptualised to:

Encourage the creation and dissemination of knowledge in the area of defence, security and strategic studies and international relations.
Pursue and encourage research in various internal security threats, nuclear deterrence and strategy, threats emanating from the Space and Cyber domain, national security structure and higher defence management.
