Overview

The School of Engineering & Technology focuses on academic programmes in various fields of engineering and technology.

NUJ offers undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes in various fields such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science and civil engineering.

Students in these programmes learn theoretical principles, practical skills, and hands-on experience in their field of study.

In addition to academic programmes, the SOET often conducts research in various fields such as energy, sustainability, transportation, biotechnology, and robotics.

This research is conducted in collaboration with industry partners, government agencies, and other academic institutions. The School of Engineering & Technology is committed to providing students with the knowledge and skills to address some of the world's most pressing challenges and contribute to technological innovation and advancement. The School of Engineering & Technology offers Ph.D., PG, UG and Diploma programmes.

From Dean's

Welcome to the School of Engineering and Technology, Nirwan University!

In our School, world-class faculty mentor the next generation of engineering and science leaders. As a school in a student-centered research university, our strong research portfolio sets us apart from traditional liberal arts colleges. In contrast, our liberal arts-based engineering education makes us unique among major research universities in the country.

Our students bring forward ideas confidently in the lab, the classroom, and beyond. Their contributions are invaluable to the strength of our research, instruction, and community. Along with rising rankings, the University is building on our reputation of providing a great education through collaborative faculty research, experiential learning, a growing alumni network, and innovative Senior Design projects. From miniature medical device technologies to blasting off into the ionosphere or taking care of our planet here at home, Temple engineers truly are the architects of the future.

Remarkable things go on daily in and around our building on Norris Street. The world outside will always demand more engineers, and we will continue to ensure that our Owls can not only step into that world, but lead it.
