December 22 is observed as the National Mathematics Day in India in honour of renowned mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan. In the light of the same, Dr. Ajay Shaarma, Associate Professor, Mathematics coordinated the celebration of National Mathematics Day at Swami Vivekananda Seminar Hall. The program witnessed a few academic speeches followed by the enlightening and motivational speech of Hon’ble Vice- Chancellor, Prof. (Dr) Arvind Agrawal through which, Professor Agrawal, very well spread the value of Mathematics and the reason of its orbital position. A quiz-competition was also organized by Dr Sharma to unfurl the complexities of the subject.
