The Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) in Cardio-Pulmonary Science at Nirwan University is a specialized postgraduate programme designed to develop advanced clinical expertise in the assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients suffering from cardiovascular and respiratory disorders.
The programme focuses on evidence-based physiotherapy practices, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, ICU care, pulmonary rehabilitation, exercise prescription, and critical care management.
This programme equips students with advanced knowledge in cardiopulmonary physiotherapy, enabling them to work effectively in hospitals, rehabilitation centres, cardiac care units, pulmonary clinics, sports rehabilitation centres, and research institutions. Students gain hands-on clinical exposure along with theoretical understanding of cardiovascular and respiratory conditions such as COPD, asthma, heart failure, post-operative cardiac rehabilitation, and pulmonary disorders.
Eligibility
- Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) from a recognized/UGC-approved university.
- Minimum 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.
- Reserved category candidates may receive relaxation as per university norms.
