The subject matter of MA in Political Science in India lends itself to discussion and debate, theories and decision-making as well as policy-making can be evaluated in light of current events. In class, debate & discussions promote deeper insights and stronger evaluative skills among students. Students are encouraged to invest their intellectual energy in analyzing, and researching complex political issues because they know that their work will be graded.
The learning outcomes of political science help to make the study of politics relevant to the struggle for better world. Political science students deepen their comprehension of public policy through engaging with real world scenario with civic engagement process.
B.A. or an equivalent degree from a UGC-recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks (5% relaxation for SC/ST candidates). Admission will be through CET conducted by SFPU Rajasthan.
Semester
Learning and Critical Thinking: Understand political ideas and thoughts by critical thinking, discussing and analyzing about it based on the courses learned by him/her.
Research and Development:Use the knowledge earned from different courses (by understanding the concepts and political theories) and involving himself /herself in research and development effectively for the benefit of all.
Investigation, Interpretation and Evaluation: Interpret and evaluate the problems by getting involved in varied sources that include data collection, manuscript, observations, books, journals, case studies of politics and the internet etc.
Reporting: Report the findings of critically think observations, interpretation, understanding, evaluation and demonstration after effective documentation. Graphical representations such as pie diagrams, bar charts etc make the report such which is easy for all readers.
Communication and Social Interaction: Communicate effectively (verbal and written) government programs and policies as well as political solutions based on case studies and data analysis with the society.
Universal Adaptability: Student can now be adaptive to any universal location to understand political environment, its benefits and shortcomings.
Ethics: Student can now collect, observe, represent and interpret the data based on political thoughts and governance from public in ethical manner.
Life-long learning: Recognize the need for, and have the preparation and ability to engage in independent and life-long learning in the broadest context of political changes.
