The MA in History program would be of great use for the teachers working in a school, personnel working in various institutions associated with history and culture (museums archives, archaeological surveys, etc.) working people in various organizations, and all graduates who are desirous of acquiring a Master’s degree in history.
B.A. or an equivalent degree from a UGC-recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks (5% relaxation for SC/ST candidates). Admission will be through CET conducted by SFPU Rajasthan.
Semester
Critical Thinking: Solve problems by critical thinking, discussing, analyzing and modeling about it.
Research and Development: Use the knowledge earned from different courses by involving himself /herself in research and development effectively for the benefit of all.
Communication: Communicate effectively (verbal and written) on historical findings.
Environment and sustainability: Understand the impact of the urbanization and development in present contexts, and provide the solutions from the past.
Life-long learning: Recognize the need for, and have the preparation and ability to engage in independent and life-long learning in historical knowledge.
Communication and Social Interaction: Communicate effectively (verbal and written) of the heritage of a nation to develop the bonding and togetherness with the country to enhance the sense of pride.
Heritage promoter: Student can now promote the heritage of a country in an international platform.
Ethics: Student can now collect, represent and interpret the historical findings in ethical manner

The Post graduates will become successful professionals in public and private organizations by becoming historian, archeologist, numismatic person etc.
The Post graduates will work effectively in spreading the awareness for heritage conservation.
The Post graduates will engage in providing ethical findings (based on research and development) to minimize historical misrepresentations.
