Nirwan University Jaipur has organized a five-day FDP program on anti-ragging entitled "Ragging: Prevention, Prohibition, and Punishment (3Ps)" from 12th August to 18th August 2023. As per instructions from the UGC, Anti Ragging Day will be observed on 12th August, followed by Anti Ragging Week from 12th August to 18th August 2023 in educational institutions. The main aim of the lectures and documentaries on Anti-ragging is to educate and create awareness among the students and faculty members about the ill effects of ragging. "Ragging: Prevention, Prohibition, and Punishment" refers to a comprehensive approach to addressing the issue of ragging in educational institutions.
It involves a combination of strategies aimed at preventing the occurrence of ragging, prohibiting such behavior through strict policies and regulations, and imposing appropriate punishments on those found guilty of engaging in ragging activities. This approach is designed to create a safe and conducive learning environment for the students to eliminate the harmful effects of ragging. FDP programme was attended by 15 faculties and around 30 students.
