Dr Jyotsna Dayma holds a PhD in Plant Biotechnology from Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat, and is presently serving as an Assistant Professor in the School of Agricultural Sciences, Nirwan University, Jaipur. With over three years of teaching and research experience, she has been actively engaged in academic instruction, guiding PhD Scholars, mentoring graduate students, and leading innovative research initiatives. Her research expertise encompasses plant biotechnology, molecular biology, genetic engineering, bioinformatics and sustainable agriculture, focusing on developing advanced and eco-friendly solutions for crop improvement. Dr Dayma has made notable contributions in areas such as CRISPR-based crop enhancement, nanotechnology applications in hydroponic tomato cultivation, Ayurvedic nanomedicine (Swarna Bhasma), and in vitro propagation of Stevia rebaudiana and many others in reputable scientific journals. An active researcher and academician, she has participated in 18 national and international conferences and authored 14 research papers and articles, underscoring her dedication to promoting innovation, sustainability, and scientific excellence in agricultural sciences.
