Bio
Dr. Khem Chand Saini holds Ph.D. and M.Phil. in Biosciences from the Central University of Punjab, Bathinda, Punjab. He has qualified CSIR-NET-JRF-SRF, GATE-BT and ARS-NET.
He has won Chancellor’s Award for Best Ph.D. Student on 11th Foundation Day Celebrations-2020 of the Central University of Punjab. He is Lifetime member of the Indian Lichenological Society, Lucknow, India. He has submitted more than 200 nucleotide sequences to the NCBI database. He is also the author in the discovery of a new species of marine alga Acetabularia jalakanyakae from the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
